She has lived and worked in the US and Germany. She has 30 years of experience as an international technology-based business development and finance professional. Her career began in international banking in San Francisco structuring asset-backed cross border financings, portfolio acquisitions and project finance. She spent 7 years at Cargill Inc., one of the world’s largest agricultural-based corporations headquartered in Minnesota. There she evaluated new bioscience technologies and developed new products and businesses, leveraging existing business units as well as creating international joint ventures and strategic alliances. Since 1999 she has been passionately involved with emerging companies, both private and listed, as a founder, investor, director, executive, and consultant. She has a successful track record raising early stage capital and building businesses, setting a clear strategy with a commitment to deliver results supported by dedicated and capable teams.
